Last update: April 2021:
WE ARE BACK IN THE STUDIO!
Following the announcements of the UK Government in regard to the reopening phases, dance studios were allowed to reopen for under 18's from April 12th 2021 and KtS Dance therefore returned to the studio for the Summer Term.
Online class options continue to be available.
There is currently some concern in the UK due to the new variant originally discovered in India. Everyone is adviced to continue to follow the rules in regard to face coverings, distance and regular handwashing. KtS classes continue to run with covid safety measures in place under the guidance of our professional risk assesment.
Should anything change and studios once again close, all timetables will transfer automatically to Zoom as previously.
Parents of all KtS enrolled pupils will be updated via email.
We are keeping a close eye on the situaton and guidance and classes will commence once it is deemed safe for us to do so.
Information has been sent to enrolled pupils with full details inside a Welcome Back pack with our procedures for running our sessions covid-securely.
A full risk assessment has been carried out and our Principal has successfully completed training in Covid-19 Awareness aswell as attending webinars with leading industry professionals in 'Preparing Dance School for a Safe Return'.
As always we will keep our parents updated by email and our social media pages. Parents please join the private facebook group to receive resources, videos, links, activities and additional support throughout what is going to be adifficult time for us all.
A reminder at this time that you should check all travel information before travelling out of the country and ensure any necessary tests/health checks/quarantines are followed through.
If you notice any symptoms of Covid-19, characterised at this time as - Fever or high temperature, - a new, continuous cough, - a loss of taste or smell please contact 111. Do not go to your doctor/hospital and self-isolate unless told otherwise by health professionals.
Please continue to wash your hands regularly, all over for atleast 20 seconds, and follow basic hygiene and cleaning procedures.
Protect others by wearing masks when instructed and avoid public transport where possible.
Our aim is to work together to do our best to keep everyone healthy whilst still creating as normal and happy an environment for the children as possible.
Let’s sprinkle fairy dust, not germs (or panic)!
Thank you for your cooperation with this important matter.
Please stay happy and healthy and we will be home soon!
